I could say a lot about talents; Probably, many are experts in describing their skills within the field in which they develop, mainly in the labor area. But, what would happen if life changes 180°, and you have to develop activities that before would not even have crossed your mind? So, welcome to a part of my story, where out of necessity, I had to emigrate, leaving everything I knew in my country, and looking for a better future.
The whole outlook looked promising; For a few years, I dedicated myself to metallurgy, welding, and the manufacture of metal structures and boiler making, a trade that I am very passionate about. In fact, anything that involves building, manufacturing, assembling, and preparing, I like.
For 5 years, the company was going from strength to strength, like ships, that is, going forward until I started doing business with government companies, and their famous 21st-century socialism. Overnight, everything that they owed me for almost two years, they decided that they would not pay me back, because they were part of that select group that was protected by the corrupt screwed in power, and with one hand in front and the other behind, I had to return to my city, to think how to solve this situation.
A situation that had no remedy, because I would never receive the outstanding payments, and with my savings, I paid the people who worked for me, remaining totally in the flat, and broken.
I immigrated to Colombia, to the city of Barranquilla, because they had offered me to work with my company, but after a month without producing anything, I ran out of money, and it was right there when I didn't know what else to do.
It seems strange that a person who is in charge of solving problems in companies that produce animal feed 24 hours a day, would go blank when it comes to making a decision, but this happened to me. I had to stay another month to be able to produce the money and return to my country, and there is where my odyssey begins.
Until then, I thought that my only talent was to continue in the area of work in which I developed since as a salaried worker, I was doing very well, and as an entrepreneur, it was wonderful while it lasted, however, there I learned that I could sell things, walking down the street and from door to door; For a shy person like me, it wasn't easy at first, but I was able to discover that if you didn't have the innate talent to talk to people, that ability can be developed. How do I know? With that, I raised the money to return to my family, not as a failure, but as someone who was able to explore new areas in his life.
Since the economic situation in my country was not good, I decided to emigrate again, but this time to Chile. Before emigrating, I also believed that here I could develop the same business activity that I had in Venezuela, but seeing that in this country there are 4 seasons and that the companies where I could do maintenance work according to the season, it was almost It was impossible for me to adapt, because I did not have the capital or the necessary tools to undertake on my own, in addition to the fact that I needed a work contract to be legal in the country.
The quickest solution was to get a job in a company as a worker, one of those who pick up the garbage at the end of the daily workday; This does not embarrass me at all, since I needed an opportunity to move up the ranks, since the jobs are totally different from what I was used to.
Due to this obstacle, I noticed that it was easy for me to do electrical work, plumbing, and plumbing, trades that I had never done in my life, but by looking, I was able to learn. I discovered that I had other abilities and talents that I hadn't explored. A very dear friend constantly told me in Venezuela: ** "Necessity, she is the mother of all inventions" ** and this was what he repeated to me every day when I committed myself to do a job that I had not done before.
Do you realize? Only when life challenges us is when we put all our effort into getting ahead. Since 2018, I have been living in Chile, and with every challenge that has been presented to me during all these years, I have moved forward, fully trusting in my talents, those that I already know, as well as those that I have not yet explored, but that I am sure of that they are inside of me It is impossible that our Creator has made us born on this earth without the necessary tools to succeed. No! We are powerful because we are part and essence of that Being of light, which guides us through better paths, and if for some reason it is necessary to go down steep paths, I will not fear because along with the test, it also gives us the opportunity to discover those talents necessary to be victorious in any situation.
When I want to know what other talents I have to get ahead, I only have to take on challenges in life that take me out from my comfort zone; An opportunity to prove to myself that the impossible does not exist if I believe so.

Podría decir muchas cosas respecto de los talentos; Probablemente, muchos sean expertos en describir sus habilidades dentro del campo en el que desarrollan, principalmente en el área laboral. Pero, ¿Qué ocurriría si la vida cambia 180° y debes desarrollar actividades que antes ni siquiera habrían cruzado tu mente? Entonces, bienvenidos a una parte de mi historia, donde por necesidad, tuve que emigrar, abandonando en mi país, todo lo que conocía, buscando un mejor futuro.
Todo el panorama se veía prometedor; Durante algunos años, me dediqué a la metalurgia, la soldadura y a la fabricación de estructuras metálicas y calderería, un oficio que me apasiona muchísimo. De hecho, cualquier cosa que consista en construir, fabricar, armar y preparar, me gusta.
Durante 5 años, la empresa iba viento en popa, como los barcos, es decir, hacia adelante, hasta que comencé a hacer negocios con empresas del gobierno, y su famoso socialismo del siglo 21. De la noche a la mañana, todo lo que me adeudaban por casi dos años, decidieron que no me lo pagarían, pues, ellos formaban parte de ese grupo selecto que estaba protegido por los corruptos atornillados en el poder, y con una mano delante y otra detrás, tuve que regresar a mi ciudad, a pensar como resolver esta situación.
Una situación que no tenía remedio, porque, jamás recibiría los pagos pendientes, y con mis ahorros, pagué a las personas que trabajaban para mí, quedando totalmente en la carraplana.
Emigré a Colombia, a la ciudad de Barranquilla, porque me habían ofrecido trabajar con mi empresa, pero después de un mes sin producir nada, me quedé sin dinero, y fue justo allí cuando no supe que más hacer.
Parece extraño que una persona que se encarga de resolver problemas en empresas que se dedican a producir alimentos para animales las 24 horas del día, quedara con la mente en blanco a la hora de tomar una decisión, pero a mí, me ocurrió exactamente esto. Tuve que quedarme otro mes más para poder producir el dinero y regresarme a mi país, y allí donde comienza toda mi odisea.
Hasta ese entonces, pensaba que mi único talento era seguir en el área de trabajo en la que me desenvolvía, puesto que como trabajador asalariado, me iba muy bien, y como empresario, era maravilloso mientras duró, sin embargo, allí aprendí que podía vender cosas, caminando por la calle y de puerta en puerta; Para alguien tímido como yo, el principio no fue nada fácil, pero pude descubrir que, si no tenía el talento innato de hablar con la gente, se puede desarrollar esa habilidad. ¿Cómo lo sé? Con eso reuní el dinero para regresar con mi familia, pero no como un fracasado, sino como alguien que pudo explorar nuevas áreas en su vida.
Como la situación económica de mi país no estaba bien, decidí emigrar de nuevo, pero ahora a Chile. Antes de emigrar, también creí que aquí podía desarrollar la misma actividad empresarial que tenía en Venezuela, pero al ver que en este país se dan las 4 estaciones, y que de acuerdo a la estación funcionan las empresas donde podía hacer el mantenimiento, fue casi imposible adaptarme, porque no tenía el capital ni las herramientas necesarias para emprender por mi cuenta, además de que necesitaba un contrato de trabajo para estar legal en el país.
La solución más rápida fue emplearme en una empresa como obrero, de esos que recogen la basura al terminar la jornada de trabajo diaria; Esto no me avergüenza en lo absoluto, puesto que yo necesitaba una oportunidad para ascender de puesto, ya que los trabajos son totalmente diferentes a los que estaba acostumbrado.
Debido a este obstáculo, noté que se me hacía fácil hacer los trabajos eléctricos, la plomería y la gasfitería, oficios que jamás en mi vida había hecho, pero que mirando, pude aprender. Descubrí que tenía otras capacidades y talentos que no había explorado. Un amigo muy querido me decía constantemente en Venezuela: "La necesidad, es la madre de todos los inventos" y esto era lo que me repetía todos los días cuando me comprometía a hacer un trabajo que antes no había hecho.
¿Se dan cuenta? Solo cuando la vida nos desafía, es cuando ponemos todo nuestro empeño en salir adelante. Desde el 2018, he estado viviendo en Chile, y cada desafío que se me ha presentado durante todos estos años, he salido adelante, confiando plenamente en mis talentos, aquellos que ya conozco, como aquellos que aún no he explorado, pero que estoy seguro de que están dentro de mí. Es imposible que nuestro Creador, nos haya hecho nacer en esta tierra sin las herramientas necesarias para triunfar. ¡No! Somos poderosos porque somos parte y esencia de ese Ser de luz, el cual nos guía por mejores caminos, y si por alguna razón es necesario ir por caminos escarpados, no temeré porque junto con la prueba, también nos da la oportunidad de descubrir esos talentos necesarios para salir victoriosos ante cualquier situación.
Cuando quiero saber qué otros talentos tengo para salir adelante, solamente debo asumir desafíos en la vida que me saquen de mi zona de confort; Una oportunidad de demostrarme a mí mismo, que no existen los imposibles si así yo lo creo.
