In food news, my brother discovered that my nephew and my Dad aren’t complete matches - my nephew likes salt and vinegar crisps, had a rare bag tonight and he tried them for the first time and loved them!

The house was unrecognisable, but I suppose that's the nature of construction, you never know what's underneath during your day to day life as it's fairly irrelevant as long as everything is working correctly.

They are getting an extension, with a new kitchen, living room and a change to the garage as well. Progress is going well and I'm excited for when they can move back in!

This white growth is something I hadn't seen before, a mould or fungus of some kind. This tree clearly was burned and stopped growing, maybe from lightening or a campfire gone wrong.

What do you think? Other than a lack of windows for ventilation and light, what was it missing? Or do you think it would be perfectly adequate for 2 housemates who aren't dating. To me it was frustrating
