At a sub zero temperatures a fast walk helps to generate some heat. So you can dress not so heavy, which makes overall fun, and pleasure from your activity more noticable. The only thing which can spoil everything is unexpected rain. Rain at +4C is.... well you can imagine it yourself. :)
