God is never far away from anyone. He created us in his image and likeness, to live on earth and worship him. He knows everyone one of us and what we will be even before we were born. If the computer can recognize and analyze the fingerprints of everyone, then how much God who gave human the knowledge to invent computer.
The feeling of being distant from God especially in time of difficulty and temptation does not mean that God has abandoned us, rather it often depends on our spiritual condition and relationship with him. Human being can drift away from God through sin, disobedience, and neglect of spiritual responsibilities. When we become too occupied by worldly things and fail to pray or study God's word, we may gradually lose the sense of God's presence in our lives and this can make us feel that God is far away.
As christians, we should seek God earnestly, remain faithful during trials and trust that he is always willing to receive those who sincerely seek him.
