Another video featuring geese at the lake. Here are some of the highlights: a woman makes me uncomfortable, dead fish, my nasally voice, and gunshots?
You shootin' at me?
Yes, I said gunshots. At least it sounds like there are two of them in the first 6 seconds of the video. Hunting is certainly not allowed at the park. Well, no one seemed to react and I was too focused on recording anyway.
A monster walking on the water!
Sometimes when I'm filming I'll meet random strangers. In this part of the video, a woman is chatting me up about the polluted history of this lake. Then she starts listing people that have died of cancer. Including her husband. Talk about awkward. I have to laugh at my clearly nervous responses. I didn't want to sound dismissive, but I really just wanted to record some video.
Pucker up, lover boy!
Fortunately, I was saved when she noticed a dead fish by the shoreline. That's when I noticed an even bigger dead fish just a couple of feet away from me. I was so focused on my video, I could have easily stepped on it. Yuck. There it is, staring at me.
Serenity now!
Finally, some peace and quiet. Well, except for the friendly pit bull you hear snorting and splashing in the water. This was the time I met a British dude while filming. I posted that story a while ago. If you want to see a dog rip apart a tire you can check it out. I'll put the link below.
At the very end I tacked on a super slow-motion shot. And, this time, I remembered to mute the audio @brisby 😂
