Its been a really long day, I woke up this morning feeling excited because my hubby has been away since Monday and he is due back today. As a result of this I have to tidy up the house, tidy myself and of course prepare him a good meal. Together with this, I have to report to work by 9am for our general staff meeting and also take care of my little baby.
I left home in hurry, trying not to be late for the staff meeting at work, I got to the bus station and to my surprise, the station was full of people waiting for bus, I was delayed for about 20 minutes before I could get on a bus.
Again, I was short on cash, I had to make withdrawal from the ATM point, getting to the ATM point, there were lots of people waiting, I had to stay on the queue with my baby strapped to my back. Finally it got to my turn I made my withdrawal and left.
I got to my office at around 8:55am and it seem everyone was waiting for my arrival to kick start the meeting. The meeting came to a wrap at around 12noon and surprisingly my boss decided to give us a tip for the weekend. I had to stay a little longer to checkup on my patients, it was a nice time.
Then off I went to the market to pick up few things for the coming week and then I needed to prepare my husband's favorite meal. I got home a bit tired, but I had to keep going through the process of cooking. As a typical African man, he loves local dish and for this I had to prepare him Poundedyam with vegetable soup.
Finally, he arrived and wow... I was so excited to see him, then we dived into long hour of catching up with the event of the week, we finally had our meal and then....the rest becomes husband and wife affairs.
