🇮🇹 Ho scoperto con piacere che anche qui su hive è attivo il gruppo “Chessbrothers” per gli argomenti che riguardano gli scacchi. Vi racconto velocemente le mie “avventure” sportive. Non ho mai giocato assiduamente i tornei se non per un brevissimo periodo ormai più di 30 anni fa. Da poco, per non dimenticare di essere anche io un giocatore, mi sono rimesso a giocare nella ICCF - la federazione internazionale degli scacchi per corrispondenza e ovviamente anche nella federazione italiana, la AISGC. Per ora il traguardo più importante, oltre a vincere un torneo a punteggio pieno, è stato il poter partecipare all’incontro amichevole a squadre nazionali tra Italia e Filippine. Gioco in scacchiera 18 contro un forte “avversario”: metto questa parola tra virgolette perché il motto della Federazione è “Amici sumus”, che in Latino significa proprio siamo amici. Questo è lo sport che mi piace (oltre ovviamente al golf).
🇺🇳 Mi ĝojis malkovri, ke ankaŭ ĉi tie en Hive aktivas la grupo "Chessbrothers" pri temoj rilataj al ŝakoj. Mi rapide rakontos pri miaj "sportaj aventuroj". Mi neniam diligente ludis turnirojn escepte dum tre mallonga periodo antaŭ pli ol 30 jaroj. Antaŭ nelonge, por ne forgesi ke mi ankaŭ estas ludanto, mi rekomencis ludi en la ICCF - la Internacia Koresponda Ŝaka Federacio kaj kompreneble ankaŭ en la itala federacio, AISGC. Ĝis nun la plej grava atingo, krom gajni turniron kun plena poentaro, estis la ebleco partopreni en amika teamrenkonto inter Italio kaj Filipinoj. Mi ludas en tabulo 18 kontraŭ forta "kontraŭulo": mi uzas ĉi tiun vorton inter citiloj ĉar la moto de la Federacio estas "Amici sumus", kio en la Latina signifas ni estas amikoj. Tio estas la sporto, kiun mi ŝatas (krom kompreneble golfo).
🏴 I was pleased to discover that here on Hive, the “Chessbrothers” group is active for matters related to chess. Let me quickly share my "sports adventures". I never played tournaments diligently except for a very short period over 30 years ago. Recently, to remind myself that I am also a player, I resumed playing in the ICCF - the International Correspondence Chess Federation and of course in the Italian federation, AISGC. Up to now, the most important achievement, besides winning a tournament with a full score, has been the opportunity to participate in a friendly national team match between Italy and the Philippines. I play on board 18 against a strong "opponent": I use this word in quotes because the motto of the Federation is "Amici sumus", which in Latin means we are friends. This is the sport I enjoy (besides, of course, golf).

Adhuc maximi momenti propositum, praeter vincendum certamen cum pleno score, fuit occasio participandi in amicali certamine inter nationes Italiam et Philippinas. Ludo in tabula 18 adversus validum "adversarium": hoc verbum inter signa citationis pono quia lex Foederationis est "Amici sumus", quod Latine significat nos amicos esse. Hoc est sportum quod mihi placet (praeterquam golfum, utique).
