Photo of myself
There are so many things that we all wish existed. And for most of us, they are for our own convenience. Many would wish we had more than 24 hours in a day. Others could wish their big tree in their backyard would be useful for once and just grow money instead of being fruitless all year.
As a kid, I wished I had superpowers. I always juggled between different ones as they were all super cool to me and all had good benefits. I wanted to be invisible at some point. Other times, I wanted to fly, or even have super speed.
Yes, I wanted to be a super hero to save the world. But really, that reason was only because it had many benefits. One of the benefits is that I really do not have to work. There were some super heroes whose alter egos had jobs that really could not afford the lives they actually lived. I mean, most of them were never without money, from the way I saw it. Their cities were taking really good care of them.
Aside from the cool lifestyle, being a super hero brings you many other benefits, alongside many disadvantages. But I am not here to tell you a tale of some super hero and his arch nemesis, the villian. I would rather like to tell you about my new friend, ME!
I went to see Dr. Jonathan last week to tell him about my project for my final year. We had a little conversation, and we talked about my project and his biggest project. I am working on a PLC-based automatic car wash system, which is way less cool compared to what he is working on.
Ever since I knew Dr. Jonathan, he has always been talking about cloning a human being. He always fills me in with many reasons why having a clone could benefit the world. I did not "not believe" he could accomplish this. I only came to him often enough so he could help me with programming my machine. He knew that, but didn't mind.
However, this time he had come really close to completing his work. And he needed to integrate DNA. This should be no problem, only that it would take the computer several hours to compute the data. He had already scanned his DNA and input it into the computer and had already begun processing.
At this meeting, I put all he had told me concerning the clone he had told me and thought to myself, "What if there was someone just like me? I wonder what I could do. "
So, I took the opportunity I had. Dr. Jonathan had ordered some nerdy supplies again and went out to get them from the courier. I decided to swap the scan and put in mine instead. I successfully did so and left Dr. Jonathan's house. He seemed to have not noticed the change in the processing, so I was not in trouble yet.
I mean, I was not going to miss my opportunity to have a super power. Well, not really. But something close to it.
I went again to see Dr. Jonathan on Friday. I figured it should not take too long to have the DNA processed, considering the nerdy computer he uses.
"Well, who do we have here?" Dr. Jonathan calmly said to me.
"You really thought I would not have anticipated that you would try and swap the scan?"
"Well, you just have the weekend as this is just a prototype. He would shut down when the weekend is over. " Dr. Jonathan continued.
"So where is he?" I asked.
"Hello, Joseph. I am JOSEF."
"You sure look handsome. "Nice to meet me." I said to my clone.
BLOG FOR US (ME)
I have so many drafts that have been sitting for weeks now. How convenient do you think it would be to have me, but not me, work on them and finish them all? It's super convenient, let me tell you.
JOSEF will basically have every memory I have, have my super high I.Q, and think just like me. All he just has to do is to continue to be just like me, and we will have no problem.
It sure will make life much easier to just wake up and see that I have great posts with great markdowns all ready for me to click "publish". I mean, I would have worked on it. But really, it would have been JOSEF, yet still me.
Make music together.
I play the guitar and sing. I can make good music. But think about if I could make "gooder" music. This is definitely going to be the case if I have two me's.
I guess there would be absolutely no need to practice. We should have the same musical background and he should be able to relate to every musical idea I bring. Then we would bring you our new album, Nice to Meet Me Ft. Me. Haha
Be more productive... Make more money!!!
I have been looking for some extra money lately. I just need to find a job, two jobs actually, for me and myself. That is double the income!
Think of the many productive things we could do. I certainly do not need to be in the kitchen for the whole weekend. I do not have anybody else to do that with me, as I stay alone. We could split chores and make things way easier for me (us). We are basically me.
Play some pranks.
I wonder why twins do not do this prank thing. I usually think that if I had an identical twin, I would be doing pranks often with my twin. All we need to do is just set the stage. It will be even much easier because no one will have ever met someone like me before.
JOSEF and I will do things like pass the same place at different times. We would make sure that at least one person noticed this, and then we would have a hidden camera record their responses.
There sure are many ways to use a clone, even productive ones. It sure would be weird to see yourself, but the fun really will not be missed.
