When I watched the news about Tropical Storm Cindy this morning I knew we would be getting a lot of rain here in Alabama even though we are hundreds of miles from where the storm made landfall. What I did not expect was all the pop up tornadoes that have been popping up all evening.

Even now and through tomorrow much of our state will be under this threat. Many areas have already received over 5" of rain making trees topple with modest wind gusts. Flooding is also widespread.

Mother Nature can be strange sometimes. Providing some damage pics from the Fairfield/Ensley tornado as provided from AL.com below:-003943ecc2332c88.JPG-61b4488f85325086.JPG-405b0857d983b0ae.JPG-457de868effd0596.JPG-0a05c1779be5e87f.JPG-4e334b1cfc5f8e49.JPG-70c38c6c14438e8e.JPG-79e8fe6638ad3f5b.JPG-6175e2b8d3a32fa5.JPG
