God does not desire evil or delight in wrongdoing. The Bible reveals Him as holy, righteous, and good, and His will is always directed toward truth, justice, and love. God is not part of evil, evil entered this world due to sin.
Although God does not want evil to happen, He allows people the freedom to make choices, even when those choices result in harm. At the same time, Scripture teaches that God remains sovereign and is able to bring good out of difficult and painful situations, accomplishing His purposes despite human sin.
We should trust God more because one day he will come and take away evil. God calls His people to resist evil, pursue righteousness, and place their hope in His promise that one day He will judge all evil and establish His perfect kingdom, where sin and suffering will come to an end.
