The bible teaches us to help and care for those which we are able to care for. While each person is encouraged to work and provide for themselves and their family, God also calls His people to show kindness, generosity, and compassion. Supporting the poor, widows, orphans, and those facing hardship reflects God's love and fulfils the command to love our neighbours.
The bible did not say that we must care for everyone who comes close to us, but we should help as much as we can. Each person should also act responsibly, avoid laziness, and manage their own resources wisely. Christians should give with a willing heart, balancing generosity with good stewardship, trusting that God honours those who use their blessings to help others in love.
