The major cause of death is sin. According to the Bible, God created human beings to live in fellowship with Him, but when sin came into the world through Adam and Eve's disobedience, death became part of the human condition. Since then, every person has been subject to physical death, reminding us of the consequences of sin and the temporary nature of life on earth.
They is a better life after death, but is limited to only those who trust and worship God. Through His death and resurrection, Christ conquered the power of death and offers the hope of eternal life to all who believe in Him.
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." (John 11:25).
This gives Christians hope that physical death is the beginning of eternal life with God
