Holy week is the week which many Christians chooses to remember the agony and how Jesus Christ suffered for in the cross of calvary. The Bible records these events and encourages believers to remember Christ's sacrifice, especially through faith, repentance, and living in obedience. However, the Bible does not command Christians to observe a specific annual week called "Holy Week" or prescribe special rituals for it.
From a biblical perspective, what matters most is not the observance of a particular season but a sincere relationship with God throughout the year. Remembering Christ's sacrifice is important, yet believers are called to honor Him every day by following His teachings, loving others, and living a holy life. True worship is shown through faithful obedience rather than by keeping religious traditions alone.
