People always search for a beginning and an end to everything, of course.
We are human, our lives are a finite period of time. From Plato to Einstein to Stephen Hawking, humans have searched for this beginning and ending to everything, ever since humans first evolved the ability to think.
In space, we peer into the Heavens looking for this. Conversely, on the microscopic scale, we continue to search (even smashing atoms to pieces, like with the LHC (Large Hadron Collider).
In all my travels, I have been able to think about this. And guess what?
I believe there is no beginning or end to anything.
You can look as far as you want inward, you will never see the beginning. Look as far as you want outward, you will never see the end (they keep smashing atoms, looking for that first particle, yet all they ever find is smaller and smaller particles-keep peering deep into space, all they see is forever).
As I said, hard for humans to comprehend, because we are used to a beginning and an end. But everything has existed forever, and always will.
You can look at String theory, it says there are 11 dimensions, I believe. Truth is, there are endless dimensions, from small to large. Particles from other particles, they form atoms, they in turn form molecules, they in turn from matter. Solar systems form Galaxy's, they in turn form Universes, they, in turn, are part of many Universes, and so on, never-ending).
Whatever is behind this existence does prefer life (why so many unbelievable things come together to make life possible). Maybe because it prefers this form of expression, maybe something we don't understand yet.
And everything is of course pure energy at it's core (even us), so maybe that's why: Energy prefers to form something it can express itself through!
I'm pretty sure of all this, and I know people will doubt it, but something kept telling me to write it, so here it is :-)
