I live in an apartment, as you will understand not all the plants survive in places where the sun reaches them directly therefore the maintenance of my plants I do it monthly and more when I observe that the environment wants to damage them.
I am from Venezuela, and in my country there are only two seasons, winter from May to November, which are rainy periods, here temperatures range between 24 ° C and 27 ° C, so we should already begin to enjoy this stage, but it has not rained very little on the contrary the heat is almost unbearable.
The summer is from the months of December to April, that is to say, we are already culminating it but with a high temperature of almost 41° C, which logically my plants suffer, although I believe that all of them, which indicates that the care of my plants has been greater.
Last night when I told them my girls they get maintenance tomorrow. I started early in the morning to clean my plants and remove all those dry leaves that I imagine they had due to the temperature. I noticed that they had a white fungus, I had already been told that it appears on plants that are on the balcony.
In it I have medicinal plants with the exception of an extremely beautiful Orchid and when it blooms it is the most beautiful thing that you will see hehe. From yerba buena, oreganon, vick vaporub and some lilies that are beautiful. All these plants that I have are gifts that are given to me.
I will not deny that it is a little difficult to keep them on the balcony, because it is not the same as being in the ground feeding on what they feed, but if I want to keep them I must take care of them.
To maintain them I throw them as fertilizer what here we call coffee dung and for the white fungi I prepare in a container type spray water with a little vinegar and every 3 days after I water them I spray them a little of this preparation and it has been good for them.
My maticas are not just for decoration hehe with yerba buena I prepare a delicious lemon juice, besides being a digestive it is refreshing for the heat wave and it is very tasty, that's why I take care of my yerba buena plant.
And with this rich tea of vicp vaporub I end my maintenance day today. I will be waiting for another opportunity to introduce you to my beautiful plants, which are the same as always, but I talk to them, pamper them, and I will be able to show them to you.
