That was a very pleasant walk - the day was sunny and not very windy, great for this time of the year.
My son visited me with his family, his wife Nadya and daughter Nastya, and we decided to take this Wednesday walk on our local promenade along the sea, the Baltic sea.
We went to the sea by car and parked neaby. To get there from the place of our parking, we crossed the river S玫ike over one of the light bridges.
My granddoughter Nastya and her cute dog Michelle were the first ones to get to the place.
Looks quite exotic, doesn't it?
Now Nastya is waiting for us to be as brave as she and Michelle are 馃榿.
We still have a lot of snow as you can see. The winter does not want to leave Estonia.
The promenade looks beautiful even in this winter weather.
The descent to the water is designed beautifully and made comfortable and safe for people to walk.
There are many places for peple to have some rest, to sit peacefully and enjoy the seaview.
There are also spots for children - and not only for children 馃榿 - to play or do sport.
This sportsground attrected the young.
You can see how much Oleg empathized Nastya's success with weightlifting - as if he was doing that himself!
Nastya was having fun playing with Michelle...
... and walking her along the sea. I could see that they both enjoyed that Wednesday walk a lot!
Michelle even found a new frend there.
The river by the sea makes the area look special. The day was sunny, so we enjoyed beautiful reflections on the quiet water of the river.
Birds also like this place.
On our way back Nadya decided to take a last look at the sea from the bench - why not to relax a bit? The man was still sitting on the bench beside.
