Once I worked along the BC coast through stormy seas and rainy nights. Against wind and tide I labored on, bringing food and fish, coffee and whiskey to men who dragged wealth from rocks and trees. Near my end, black robed priests anchored me in tiny coves and inlets and dueled with Raven, Bear and Whale for the spirits of the People.

I now wait for the tiniest of creatures to nibble at my form. I wait to once more roam the seas.
