Everyone's journey is different, or at least it should be. We all have different needs, beliefs and things that make us happy... yet a lot of us end up together in the hostage to the salary mentality. It is bred into us from an early age.

A change like you did is never easy. I did a similar thing in 2014. It required a lot of changes on my part and was extremely scary sometimes. For me with retirement income now my life is a little more secure. At least on a month to month basis. I am still one unforeseen financial disaster away from that all changing but I am a lot happier over all. :)
