Well, I am back...

I really missed reading and voting on all y'all's posts!

Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waiting on a train... Most people can instantly remember those iconic lyrics from the great, and not yet late, Kris Kristofferson. Of course the song is Me and Bobby McGee popularized by the late great Janis Joplin. She could really belt it out with loads of emotion to spare!

So we spent the past few days straightenin' the curves, and flattenin' the hills. The mountains of West Virginia didnt get us like Waylon said, but they tried. We had made a run to Virginia to check out the halfway house...

Seeing the sold sign makes me think I got sold a bill of goods. She is ok, but sure isn't the lake house lol. Just will have to make do for a while. 😏

Ben and I had a good time and enjoyed a Walmart tailgate lunch or two.

It was on the way back to Michigan that we ended up busted flat in Circleville Ohio about four hours from home.

First thing I noticed, my fender pulled away from the trailer.

Then I saw the wheel was not aligned with the other wheels. That ain't good!

Huh, wonder why that leaf spring is nearly laying on the ground?

Well there is your problem! It threw a u-bolt!

So that trip incurred an extra $570 bucks of damage for the home team. 😌 Just more of my Charlie Brown luck I guess... Like 6 dollar a gallon diesel fuel isn't enough of a headache.
