In the angry raging storm,
The fearful wind that arrests the sea,
The sight too scary to see,
The very moment that hope ended,
Ambitions left the mind,
Dreams left the soul,
The body, petrified.
I became a living dead,
I saw myself on death's bed,
I have trodden on the dead end,
I have been trodden by the greatest enemy,
In the valley of the shadows of death,
No lies, fear held my heart,
Alas! This is where it all ends.
He said He'll be there, always,
But I don't seem to find a trace of Him,
I gave a call, it went through,
But His eyes were closed,
"Was He sleeping?
Didn't He knowsthere's a storm?
Woke up and He said "Peace be still!"
"Just three words?" I thought,
Until I saw that storm became still,
Then I know that He was not truly asleep,
He just closed eyes to the storm,
Waiting for my call, 'cause,
It takes an eye closed to the storm,
To calm the storm.
It takes a man not afraid of the storm,
To speak "Peace be still!"
And next time, I know what to do,
At the sight of a storm,
I'll close my eyes, call on Him,
And the storm will be calmed.
Never am I gonna think of death in the midst of the storm.
Faith means you can't see the whole stairs but you are taking it one step at a time. Faith is also believing even when you can't see.
Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.
Still me,
My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
