Waking up this morning I realise I had slept off not making much progress in my drawing,Oh God not again!!!,I have a target was already feeling discouraged because it's going to be a long day.
After my routines, I set up my easel,still looking for inspiration then I decided to open my IG and scroll through the body of works on my page,as I felt encourage by that most of the time ,then my attention was caught by a sketch I did for a renounwed artist some months back on his birthday,Wow,the piece is magnificent!!.
I love the expression of line and light on that work, studying it again my inspiration was rekindled,but more importantly, I remember the story of how I was inspired to draw him and post on my IG to discover that day was his birthday.
His reception and comment on the art piece and going far as reposting it made my day that day.Since then,He had ever been a source of inspiration and encouragement to me through my art journey,such are the men I was talking about ,so rare a gem,from him I learnt a great lesson have always applied in my art.
