Thanks be to God, In want to share what I learnt in today's mass indoctrination day 9,
I have had a mind shift on so many things,One of which is speaking in , if we speak in tongues we should interpret it so that the brethren can benefit, but if we will not interpret we should keep silent so as not to cause confusion among us, so many worship house are guilty of it and myself included, we always speak and even aloud such that it might turn to be like competition or trying to oppress the other brethren with it that can not speak, have learnt to keep silent when am among brethren if I can't interpret it.
We are taught not to focus on contribution when we gather to worship but on how we can help brethren who are truly in need, it is very good for us to be sensitive to the need of brethren not like some churches do where emphasis is mainly on giving alone.
I learnt singing is from God, when we sing our spirit is lifted, joy fills our heart, healing takes place and a lot of miracles happen when we sing praises to God, there are some time when we sing, we would notice some issues of concerns that was in our heart before the praise just dissolve, our countenance becomes lighten ,that is one old the things praise does, singing in church is not only for the choir but for every believer in church, in some churches only the choir sing the rest of the brethren just listen, this ought not to be, when we worship and reverence Him in our worship that's when God will smell a good smelling aroma of worship
We are to worship on Sunday and not Saturday, that's the beginning of the week and that's what the bible says, some church who worship on Sunday are preaching wrong doctrine, we are to be careful of such.
