Title: Rural buildings
There has been a trend of people moving from rural to urban areas for decades. The vast majority of villages are almost deserted. The situation is no better in the region where I live.
The abandonment of the population is most easily seen in the dilapidated conditions of abandoned properties.
If they are not used for living and maintenance, most houses cannot withstand the test of time. Every neighborhood has deteriorating exteriors, broken walls and roof tiles, and rotting woodwork.
I did the total opposite thing and moved from the metropolis to the countryside. I don't think I was wrong, although life in the new circumstances is completely different from the previous one. I traded living in an apartment on a busy street for living in a house with a huge yard.
I replaced daily sitting in the car with cycling and long walks. I alter the purchase of fruits and vegetables in supermarkets with an orchard and a garden. For now, I am satisfied, considering that the infrastructure has also improved significantly since I moved.
