Title: Cats
Superstitions are practiced by people all around the world. One of the most frequent superstitions involves dark animals like ravens, crows, and cats. It is said that if a black cat crosses your path, you will meet with disaster. Although cats were thought to bring good luck in ancient Egypt, they were associated with witches or the devil in medieval Europe.
Fortunately, there aren't many black cats around, but they do cross the roads just like everyone else. They sometimes stalk from roofs, although this has nothing to do with the cat's color because other cats do the same thing.
In most cases, cats, no matter what color they are, stalk their prey and use their patterns or color for camouflage.
