Monomad challenge - BW Scenery and details along the roadside

I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.

Title: BW Scenery and details along the roadside

My original plan to stroll through the fields, forests, and around the lake was swiftly replaced by a bike ride along the route that links the three places. The planned path would cover a distance of no more than 25 kilometers, and it would include stops in areas where wild animals might be present.

I stopped for the first time at the shooting range after a few kilometers because I thought I might run across a hare or a deer there. Unfortunately, the intense sun and high temperature forced the animals to seek refreshment in the shade of the surrounding groves.

I took a few photos of the different plants I saw along the road and continue with the ride.

I continued cycling until I came upon a deer in a mowed wheat field.
