Title: BW Phacelia tanacetifolia
I had never seen this flowering plant before in the wild, so I was startled when I came across a sizable field of it on my walk. Because there are numerous bee hives nearby, this area was specifically planted. Additionally, this plant has a long flowering cycle and is known as a honey plant. It draws not only bees but also other helpful insects. Although I haven't eaten the honey from this plant, I've read in online sources that it is highly prized, light yellow in color, and has a lovely taste and aroma.
I plan to visit this area again to collect seeds and plant them in my yard next year. Of course not that much, just a small part.
