Good Morning
Wow, today I got up so early, and I am happy about it. I was always an early riser because that’s how I could go for my usual morning runs before the maddening traffic took the road. However, with the lockdown, early-rising didn’t have much gains, or so I thought.
But today getting up early, I found myself planning for the day as much as starting a few things that I intend to finish through the day. Absolutely, a brilliant start to the day! 😊
First, let’s get to know how my exercising life went along.
Yesterday evening was the extended version of our regime. For those of you who don’t know, here it is:
- Warm-up: Couple of minutes
- Suicide-drill: 2 Sets
- Shuttle-run: 1 set with 4 reps
- Jumping-jacks
- Wall-sits
- Push-ups
- Crunches
- Step-ups
- Squats
- Tricep Dip
- Planks
- High Knees
- Lunges
- Push-ups and Rotation
- Side Planks – each side
- Langdi – few minutes
For those of you who do not know what Langdi is, it is one of the traditional games of India, which is now a national sport as much as a sport followed by South Asian countries. You can look it up. Also, I like to play it because it is making our legs stronger. Imagine hopping on one leg taking all the body weight. Get the point? I am sure you did.
So, today morning was great as you can make out how I started this post. I got to do quadruplets focusing on chest and back. Here are my quadruplets:
- 1-set push-ups
- 1-set weights for chest
- 1-set weights for back
- 1-set weights for triceps
I always had this love for chest exercises because of the toned feel you immediately get. Hmm.. No wonder I keep waiting for the day where I focus on the chest. This week, most likely, I will add thigh regimes too. Let’s see how that goes. I will update you’ll anyway.
So, people, that’s it for today.
Namaste! 😊
And I wish you a lovely day!

Did You Know?
Dave Hoff holds the record for the heaviest equipped (with suits and safety accessories) squat. The record stands at 577.5 kg or 1273.2 lbs.
During my earlier gym days, a few years ago, the heaviest squat I did was for 180 kg. That, however, feels like a toothpick weights in comparison to what Dave did. 😊
What was your best squat? Let me know in the comments.😊
