Songs become vehicles that break space-time, we remember moments with each note we listen to, we smile, we reflect, we dance, we keep quiet...
All those songs are valuable in one way or another, that's why I regret (or not) to have dedicated or shared some of them, because they mark a before and an after that in the end, almost always ends up being bittersweet, thus damaging (or not) the good beats that dress the song.
The same happens with places, movies, alcohol, and many other mistakes that today take their toll or in other cases take us to some happy place where we can recharge our joy away from home.
I have learned between songs to say "stay", to understand that not every pretty smile deserves to know your "friends" your secrets and flaws, that German can be the language of eternal love, that neopunk or melodic hardcore can make excellent brownie mixes and run a bakery somewhere in the south-west of the city and at the end dedicate songs of rappers that today are no longer there.
We grow up between songs.
Or at least in my world, we do.
How is it in yours?
