I attended Rubeth International Christian Academy,Abia State, Nigeria for my Secondary school education. Embarrassing moments are times that we can't predict what will happen but when they do, we feel 馃槥 bad. But I believe they are stages of growth. People may laugh but we learn from the mistake.
When I was in Junior Secondary school 2, I had this embarrassing experience that I don't think I can ever forget. Then, I was interested in football (not anymore). I made my classmates believe that I can play football; although I knew I'm not really good at it. So one day, our class was set to play with another class. After bragging about my skill, I couldn't gather the courage to play with others. When I came into the class I wanted to prove my capability even though I didn't join the match and I landed on the floor 馃槬馃槀馃槀. Everyone laughed and I felt so embarrassed. I recounted the memory for months, infact even until now. It was a funny and embarrassing 馃様 experience. I learnt to know my strength and not trying to prove what I'm not to people.
Another experience was in my Senior secondary school 3. I was in class interacting with my fellow students and I was on my period that day; I think it was actually the third day of my flow so it's meant to be light, not heavy flow. So I bought cold water and took it. That caused it to flow more than it should have and it also caused me abdominal pains. My skirt got stained as a result of that. The embarrassing 馃様 part of it was that a male student 馃槬 pointed out the stain. It's actually not bad that he showed me that but I felt embarrassed because I walked around the class but no female noticed the stain but a male.
Here's a photo from 2019, during my secondary school days
Well like I said earlier, embarrassing moments are stages of growth. I believe I've passed those levels and can't repeat those mistakes. 馃馃馃様馃様馃槀馃槀. I know better now.
