This movie is plain evidence of the warped sense of thinking that women have. It's evidence of the inability of women to deal with consequences and their natural instinct to make their flaws and mistakes the man's fault. This is something that women keep on doing and have been doing from time past. Women get angry and make a mistake. Man gets angry, women get angry that man is angry and demand an apology. This is what happens in most relationships and it's wrong.

In the case of Robert and Melinda, Melinda was narrating the story and from the beginning she made it seem like Robert was using her for money. To be honest, it did seem that way. He graduated and didn't get a job for 15 years. He stayed at home working on the battery. He barely went out. He used up all her funds and there was nothing to show for it. She made him seem a leech. But towards the point were he finally had his break through, he started showing signs that what she thought wasn't actually the case.

In the video he sent to Prescott, he said that he just wants to do so much for his wife because she had done so much for him.

When she kicked him out, he only took the records that were his originally, nothing more. If he was really a leech, he would have tried to take as much with him as possible.

At the divorce signing, she offered him the car and clothes she bought him. He said he didn't want any of it, all he wanted was his wife. The man loved Melinda, he truly did. But she had had enough of him and so she said no.

Fast forward a few weeks, she's been sleeping with her ex. She has moved on. She saw him washing plates in a restaurant and mentally noted that he should pay her back the $1 million plus that he owed her.

Then he got the deal he was looking for and the first person he came to tell was her. He came with flowers and he tried to apologize for everything but she didn't want to hear him out. After all, he was a poor man and as far as she was concerned, he borrowed a suit to impress her. He told her his deal had clicked. He gave her a check of $1 million and bought her house back. That's over 1000% of what she spent on him.

But she wanted more. So she tried to seduce him. She literally went to his house to seduce him. But he had moved on to someone from his past. The same ash her.

Unfortunately, being a woman she refused to accept consequences and as far as she was concerned it was his fault.

How, if I may ask, is it his fault that she refused to take him back when he begged at their divorce.

She refused to see reason and she became violent and obsessed. She wanted everything he did for his new wife. She wanted her life. She refused to move on and face the fact that no one was at fault for her predicament but herself. Nope she didn't. Instead she said it's Robert's fault because he didn't fight. Such a womanly thing to say.

Robert was an asshole. I don't doubt it. And no other woman would do what she did for him. But I think 10million would suffice to make up for it. She would have gotten more if she had stayed but she left and refused to listen to him. And in the end she lost her life. Too bad for her. So I say it was her fault.
