Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Time is an asset, and once lost or misused, it is nearly impossible to get back or replace. Other assets or valuables like gold or jewelry can be easily replaced when lost, but time is difficult to get back for those who are fortunate, while those who are not don't even get back the time lost at all; they just have to deal with the loss and find a way to see amends in the future. Time is like running water; you don't come across the same water twice. Once it has flown past you, then you will have to deal with whatever is left. This makes proper usage of our time very very important and non-negotiable.
There are many adults like myself today who wish they spent more time during their childhood developing a skill rather than playing football, and now going back to develop a skill has become very difficult because there are bills to pay, and it is nearly impossible to actually let go of a paying job just because you want to learn a skill. Time lost or misused is difficult to gain back or correct.
Many adults have used their time wrongly, and it has destroyed their families and their relationships with friends. We have people today who are working jobs that take all of their time, giving them little or no time for other things like spending time with family and friends, and now the beautiful relationships they once had with family and friends have been ruined because one of the things that ruins any relationship, no matter how close the distance, is distance and no communication. Every friendship or relationship is like a flower; what waters or sustains this flower is communication, and once you let your business or work take that out of the picture, then it is only a matter of time before it withers.
So many adults will say, "I don't mind if I don't have friends at all; as long as I have money, I will be fine." The truth is that there are things money can't buy, and a genuine friendship or relationship is one of those things. You can have all the money in the world and still feel lonely or need someone's company, and sometimes you need a genuine friendship or relationship, not one that is paid for or influenced by money. Time is essential, and sometimes it feels like 24 hours is not enough for all that we want to do and still have time to connect, but if we work with a schedule and are able to manage our time properly, we can get things done and still have time for other things like a hangout with friends and family or even just associating and participating in some of the activities that we love.
The fact that we want a better future is not an excuse to cut friends and family off and claim to be focused on work or business; without friends and family, that future will be one boring and really tiring one that you might end up regretting the steps you took to secure. So a little balance will go a long way; you chase the better future and still have shoulders to cry and lean on when the time comes.
