These look yum - nicely golden brown. I'm assuming from the look that you're using a "drop biscuit" (you drop spoonfuls of the batter/dough from a spoon) recipe? I've done both the "drop" and "roll and cut" methods, and typically get a nicer rise/flake from the roll and cut ones.
