A proud African man’s words were questioned when his description fit the one of the rapist, he was arrested and spent several nights in jail and while he was there he said that they were racist, screaming in tongues he calls them names, the girl he had helped while he was still a free man went to the station hoping to speak to him more about different writing styles and novels he could possibly recommend for her not really thinking about his state of mind, but she could not face him after she heard him screaming as she was on her way to visit him in jail, so as soon as she heard what he was saying she changed her mind and decided to look into what he was saying, when it was found out that it was not him he was released immediately but also the proud African man found out that the culprit looks almost exactly as him, the girl he had helped before returned the favor helping him get out of jail by collecting enough convincing evidence that clearly proves his innocence, he went on to sue the state for arresting the wrong man, because he found it racist that they could not tell the difference, over all he blamed the state until the girl made him realize that he needs to apologize, since she witnessed him not living up to his own words when he called people names which she recalled in his presence, she was no longer to be her friend if he was going to continue to sue, so the proud African man started to question his actions, was he wrong for wanting to sue, I mean he did not commit the crime he was detained for, if he does not sue what guarantees are there that the same thing will not happen again, it might not be him but someone else might fall victim of the same circumstance.
