I was trying to sleep but I could not. All I could think of is the menace we all caused as a result of getting recognition for what we do not deserve. I have seen many claiming they serve humanity but they just do it for the eyes and I cry for the kind of leaders we are growing to become.
I've seen people where beggars are lined, snapping selfies and posted that they just established an initiative all in the name of recognition.
Also, I see young people volunteer for programmes not for humanity sake but because they want to use it to boost their chance for some certain opportunities*
Life is beyond that and Leadership is beyond that. If you really want to lead, you have to be 100% real, committed and present.
I have heard enough of this story and I must tell you that, the reason why many have failed to move forward isn't because they don't care rather, they care about themselves alone. They are so selfish and didn't think that what they did affect the lives of millions of people.
The day you begin to realize that the way you sleep affect somebody else or the way you talk is hurting someone's feelings, it's the day you begin to grow.
The day you begin to realize that you're not getting up early to work is affecting lives, its the day you begin to lead and grow.
We need to start thinking of sustainable solutions and that's the point we can grow and create real change.
Greatness doesn't lie in showing off but showing up!
