In a lot of ways, I think this is true, backwards (and religious) decisions SMH. It really seems like most people are very determined to do what feels right and good to them, and them only. No matter the bigger picture and consequences for everyone else or our world.

However, I am not ready to completely give up on hope. After all - what would life be without hope? Would life even be if there were no hope?

I remember you saying previously that our world is pretty much doomed. To me the question really is - when will that happen? Of course, no-one knows. If two or three world leaders let their ego dictate their actions it could happen tomorrow. Doesn't seem that far fetched these days with everything going on around the world. But if that does not happen then - hurrah - we've got a few more years until our sun dies and we can ponder the fate of Earth or continue waging war against everyone that doesn't agree with us. Here's to doomsday!
