This morning like many mornings I got up fairly early to enjoy the quiet. Not that our house is loud with just my hubby and me, however, there is something about the quiet of a day's beginning.

I actually wanted to go for a run/walk, we call it jiggy-jog 馃槃, but then remembered that I needed to bake the sourdough bread I had prepared yesterday for this morning's breakfast. It has been baking in the oven and is now tantalizing me with its fresh scent. Not yet though, it has to cool off for at least an hour. The wait...

While it is cooling off, I refrained to take a little nibble, I started looking through my photo library for the Photography Lover Community contest: Female Portrait only to just find out that I missed the time window. How did that happen?! I guess I just cannot keep up with how fast-paced that community is 馃構. Must make a point of checking it every day, maybe even multiple times.

Anyways, while I was looking through my photo library for female portraits I came across these ones of model Lauren Babree. These are part of a beach sunset shoot I did down the Jersey shore. From beach, bikini, portrait to nude - the lighting was fabulous, at first late afternoon sun, changing into the sunset and into blue hour and then nighttime. We kept shooting all the while. The walk back to my car was... interesting.

I am sure I will show you more photos from this shoot, but these ones are a perfect fit for the #reflectionhunter contest of the Shadow Hunter Community. I love this theme because I love reflections of any kind and will always stop to shoot it when I see one. And I totally forgot about these ones here.

Just a few steps from the ocean beach we found this big puddle of still water, next to a little rivulet flowing into the ocean, probably a leftover from the tide. It was a perfect glassy mirror, yet somewhat muddy, definitely sandy, with lots of flies and mosquitos. Kudos to Lauren for being able to hold still under those conditions, she handled it like a champ.

Hope you enjoy these - have a great Sunday, Hivians!
