Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

Hi there, I often wonder what to do with my free time. I often find myself mindlessly scrolling the internet, watching endless YouTube videos, or forever thinking about what to watch on Netflix, jumping from one trailer to another. I have always wanted my free time to be productive but not necessarily exhausting, if you know what I mean. So, I started painting by numbers during the COVID-19 lockdown. It was satisfying. It kinda fulfilled my dream of being a painter. It helped with my mental health, and I still do it to this day. But now I want to do something more, something new.

I am by name Joseph Timothy, a native of Nasarawa state, Keffi. I was born on the 3rd of October. I am the 3rd born from my parents. I have just a brother and 2 sisters.

My father dedicated his entire life to working the land, and since we were little, my brother and I accompanied him to the plot, growing up and learning a lot about this work. My father passed away ten years ago, and we took over this task. I have always enjoyed this work, and we have even helped each other financially with the good harvest we grow there.

I really like sports and have played all kinds since I was little. I always liked baseball and played it for a long time, but that's where I realized that I excelled at speed. So, I recently discovered that what I'm really passionate about is athletics. The track is my second home. I go there Monday through Saturday to run, and that feeling when you beat your own record is pure magic for me. I excel at speed. I run the 80-meter dash, and I was recently selected for a national relay race to be held in Anzoategui State.

I am Jane, just turned 18, a student living in Cebu City's miracles. I want to be a future lawyer ⚖️ but at present, I am taking a BA in Political Science as my pre-law course. I suppose I am what they call a "Jack of all trades, master of none." And you got that right! Among the many hats I wear, one fits flawlessly well: the writer's hat 🪶. Whether I am journaling literary works, producing research papers to an extensive depth, or bringing life to blogs, writing has always been my default escape and my preferred means of expression.

Hello, Hive family. My name is Ruben T. Companion Jr., a 45-year-old father of four—three beautiful daughters and one son. I'm not someone special by the world’s standards. I'm just a simple man trying to do right by the people who count on me. I don’t have much money in my wallet, but I carry something heavier: the responsibility of being a husband and a father. And even though it’s not always easy, I carry it with love, faith, and quiet determination.

I am the first child and only son with two beautiful sisters and a loving dad. Mom transited to heaven about 5 years ago so she's presently one of my angels who keep watch over me. I am a graduate of Psychology from the prestigious Delta State University, Abraka. I'm somewhat a jack of many trades and trust me, I am versed in all of them cos asides been a psychologist with special interest in clinical psychology, I am a relationship and health counsellor, a massage therapist, an event host and public speaker and last but definitely not least a music minister.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
