The first month of the year is behind us and its time for another OCD curation monthly report.
Here we will be presenting data on curation for authors and communities that are supported by OCD.

Here is the chart for the number of votes per day.
As we can see the number of votes per day has been quite constant with a small drop in the period. On average the number of votes per day has been around 140, while for the month a total of 4300 votes were distributed.
Here is the chart for the number of unique authors voted daily.
There is a similar trend here as the overall count for votes.
On average somewhere around 125 unique authors per day were supported by OCDB.

Here is the chart for the number of authors voted on a monthly basis.
We can notice a small drop in the number of monthly authors voted, but an overall steady number true the year with around 1287 authors supported monthly.
Here is the chart for the amount of HIVE rewarded daily.
Note that this is HIVE equivalent numbers, since half of the authors rewards are paid in HBD.
A steady number here with a small drop throughout the year. On average around 2k HIVE was distributed per day.

A small drop here as well. On average around 42 communities voted on a daily basis in 2023.

Almost 150 communities voted in January 2024, a bit higher than the previous month.

On average around 35 comments voted daily in the last month. There is an increase in the numbers of comments voted.
How is OCDB doing when it comes to onboarding?
Here is the number of new accounts created.
The new accounts are usually driven by the market conditions and the prices. As we can see there has been a downtrend in the accounts created. There was a jump in the numbers in August 2023 when more than 100 new accounts were created by OCDB for a few days. A total of 288 accounts created by OCDB in the last month.
