OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 849th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Kythera is a small island. For those that like numbers, it covers an area of around 280 square km (a little more than 100 square miles) and it has 3.000 (more or less) people living in more than 30 villages, scattered all over the island. Nevertheless the diversity in this small place is extraordinary! From majestic beaches, to olive groves and from arid bushland, to villages lost in the forest, it has it all!

They met at school when they were 8 years old, studied several years in the same classroom and always shared inside and outside the classroom. On birthdays they invited each other and on many occasions they enjoyed each other's company on weekends.

If I had been asked this question a few years ago, I wouldn't even have had time to answer because I would have been working for sure, that said, I am currently working, of course I am, I do it in the best way possible, I mean I try very hard to do it well, I am dedicated to sell skin care products and others, for a company, the truth is that I have been doing it for several years, but not just the same as when I started to work.

Olives are packed with flavor and they add tons of zing to chickpeas, which are rather bland on their own. Chickpeas are marvelous, though, as a basis for a loaf. Since we live in the urban areas, it is but fitting to have a little backyard garden. During pandemic days, I was into planting more green vegetable that can be easily be planted and harvested in our backyard. I wasn't interested in collecting flowering plants or even those trending plants in the FB world. I was more inclined into green plants. Of course, because vegetables can be eaten unlike those other flowering plants are only for display.

Hello colleagues, today I bring you a new chapter of this incredible story, which a year ago seemed so distant but now it is a reality and as the days go by it becomes more tangible and the emotion to see my dream come true gets bigger and bigger. First of all, I must tell you that since the last time we met we have progressed at a much slower pace, since various factors have influenced things not to flow so quickly, among which we can highlight that one of the workers has not presented more in his workplace, while on the materials side the lime that was unknowingly acquired was industrial and it does not serve to give a good finish, since it is thicker and is linked with coal, which paralyzed a little works inside the house.

Well, yes, the truth is that I have mantras and I have principles that I adhere to and that have always worked for me. Mom was the one who taught me these mantras when I was a teenager and they worked wonders for her. Of course, it is not about repeating these mantras like a parrot, but having the firm conviction that each word expressed is a reality.

Corn harvests in Venezuela generally take place between August and September, but we planted this cut of corn on August 12 and today we had to harvest the first ears and we already have tender and fresh corn, ready to make cachapas, parboil, roast or as ingredient in sancochos and soups. The corn is thus harvested tender or left to dry in the plants where it can be harvested in a state of maturation, that is, dry grains for the production of other food products such as corn flour.
