OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 442nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Today, I will be sharing my version of the green beans which is really very easy peasy to make and this is my contribution here for those who might be needing one idea on what to do with their green beans. I got freshly harvested green beans from the fresh market in Torrox, Andalusia and I thought of cooking this with simple ingredients. I have two ways to make the beans soft as follows, simply steam the beans until semi soft or cook them directly with other ingredients... sort of in a stir-fry method. When cooked, I topped this with crispy onions that I cooked beforehand. It is better to prepare the ingredients before starting to cook, this way it will be faster to cook this dish.

Did you know that lichens can be found on all 7 continents? Yep, the freezing Antarctica too. If for whatever reason the whole humanity is blown up, they will survive. Together with ants :)

Thank God! It's that time of year again. The temperature was above 40° today so I took the motorcycle out for a ride. I stopped at some local trails and thought I'd do a quick video on an affordable bagging system I'm currently using.

Hey friends! So I thought I'd do a little ideas blog about how people can work toward reducing their trash output. I am not zero waste, but I am low waste - and honestly I think that's a good thing to say, because so many people hear "zero waste" and think, there is NO WAY they could do that. "Low waste" makes it much more of a reachable goal, eh?

So when we say the not so good, we are actually talking about mistakes, failures, about what does not work out as we have planned or dreamed, about bad moments. Emotionally we place ourselves in fear, sadness, or anger. We feel that we have failed, that we have made mistakes, that we are impotent, there is anguish, stress, depression and we qualify the situation as unfair... In short, the not so good, includes everything that lowers our vibe, that makes us feel bad, that we consider negative.

I am not a baker, but I love cooking and all its derivatives. I have made different breads such as canilla (similar to baguette, I don't know if it is the same), peasant, sweet bread, acemitas, ham bread, Turkish bread and something more or less similar to pita bread, but not the same.

There was worst time of my life when i was alone and there was nobody to talk and share my feelings. Then i started going out and exploring the nature and i started connecting to nature very well i understood the signals of the nature.

My friend brought me at Tierra Alta the other day. It is one of the famous tourist attractions in Valencia. Actually I initiated this trip and asked him to accompany me and fortunately, he didn't decline.

What do mini trains, water balloons, gelato, bunnies and red berries have in common? They are all part the growing farm to fork experience. In recent years there has been a growing trend, internationally, to give families an authentic farm experience. When I was introduced to the "berry picking" concept I was first living in the USA and then the UK. It seemed a bit strange to be paying to pick my own fruit. But the novelty certainly has its appeal once you have enjoyed your first farm picking. Many farming communities have opened up to the public and offer a growing number of unique experiences. A petting zoo or farm stall being the most well known. Many farms here in the Cape offer an off-grid getaway where you can pick your own fruit and be a part of the farm life for a day. Or two.
