OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 200th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Amazing Nature: A Couple Of Zebra Dove In The Back Of Our Home

I saw a couple of Zebra Dove in the back of our home resting in our neighborhood Mango Tree. This is not the first time that I made an article about the zebra dove because last month ago I made an article about the family of zebra dove. I don't wanna explain the details about the zebra dove because I've already done that I just wanna share what I saw.

What Happens In The Orchard

Now I have time to arrange the orchard. It's from my mother, but because she's over eighty and can no longer work as she used to, then I help. As a field, the orchard is completely and 100% organic, we do not use artificial fertilizers to grow or destroy pests. I occasionally prune a branch and that's it. 馃槑

Five Ways to Invest in Myself During Lockdown馃摂鈽橈笍鉁嶏笍馃捇

The covid pandemic has made lockdown time very difficult for people, particularly young people who travel around the world. I often wonder... how can you overcome this period? How can you maintain a positive mind every day? I believe each person will be able to cope with this tough time and move forward (which I love to hear as well). Today I'm going to share with you five ways that I've invested in myself and feel good so far.

The Village Child | History | Part 2 | [Eng-Esp]

After almost 8 weeks of rains, storms, and a cold company of a woman from whom he only received orders, attentions and empty conversations.

His aunt Anna made him feel lonelier than ever, he could not find a way to please her, nor to be worthy of a hug or a small gesture of love, at least a sweet word.

Life is asymmetrical, not all of us have the same luck. Sometimes we see the world with the eyes of gratitude, especially when we observe scenes that make us feel tiny, but fortunate.

What you see in these photos happened during my trips to the beach where I work as a photographer for a full day agency.

If you don't need it, cut out of your life.

Back when I studied Physics, I attended a class about group dynamics. It sounds weird but it was pretty interesting. In it, I learned that these clusters of people have a defined objective. But the most important thing is that they have also an expiration date. Remember all those activities you had to do with others. Chances are most of you haven't stayed in touch. It is not something to feel guilty. It is human nature. It is done. We move to the next thing. Sometimes we make friends, but that's a complete different concept, until it isn't. Rinse and repeat and it goes on. Before you know it, you're out of groups into a new one. You might arrive in ash or six feet under ground. Perhaps, floating in a river; or on a blazing boat (if you're truly lucky).

HOW TO: MAKE SHAMPOO BARS

Today's world have become almost obsessively compulsive about bathing and washing both hair and body. Soap and shampoo have a rather interesting history. The path to the bathtub was apparently rather a dirty one for our ancestors. The more wealthy were able to pay regular visits to public bath houses. Although it seems a bath house was more of a social event than a reason for cleaning up! I can't establish how recently private homes have used shampoo bars but it seems that initially a hair soap was used which later became a liquid shampoo. Now in the recent years shampoo bars are making a big come-back. And they are fabulous! To make and to use.

Morning or evening person?

For years, I myself have suffered from a rhythm that does not seem to fit in this world. And for years I've forced myself to go to bed on time, and get up on time. Is that easy? No often not. And it happened very regularly that I did not sleep at night because I was once again not tired enough to sleep, or because my rhythm disappeared again. It has been a struggle for years to 'live normal times'.
