OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1757th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Don麓t get me wrong I am happy where I am, and my prospects are still fine for the next 15 years I guess but I am definitely no longer a carefree teen, or charging at life full speed as I did back in my DJ days.

The Will and the Unwilling

This isn't a library odd job, it's a library non-job. It is odd, though. An older gentleman approached the front desk today and asked if we would be willing to sign his will as witnesses. This is not something we do. We don't offer notary services, but he assured us it didn't need to be notarized.

I read through the paragraph of legalese saying I swore under penalty of perjury and whatnot, and didn't like the idea. I didn't see any will, just the witness statement page. How can I witness something I haven't read? Why is it so important to sign here and now?

Death Anniversary Turned Into A Family Reunion (and Birthday Celebration)

As mentioned in one of my previous posts, we'll be going to celebrate our father's first death anniversary, and it happened on the last day of September. Unexpectedly, the celebration was turned into a family reunion because everyone living in the same province was present. We would have been complete if our brothers from the Manila area had come, but they had respective work to attend to. Later in the afternoon, relatives and some friends also came. In our country, anniversaries are usually turned into reunions. It reflects the rich Filipino values of family and culture.

Cute ring storage box (ENG/ESP)

Today I share with you how I made a nice chest to store my rings, and is that not having a safe and suitable place to store the garments we are at risk of losing them because many times we do not have an ideal place to keep them, in my case I often left them on the nightstand, in a purse in a box of other clothes, in short, I always ended up losing my rings, which I like to use so much, so I came up with the idea of making a chest to store them, I liked the idea of chest because besides being decorative is very comfortable and ideal for this purpose.

Wednesday Walk Challenge : Potager Mont Rouge, Rougemont (Quebec)

The Potager Mont-Rouge (potager : Vegetable garden) is located in the town of Rougemont, not far from Montreal, about 1 hour by car. This is truly apple country, with all farms offering U-pick. In the distance, you can see Mont Rougemont with its 381-metre-high antenna.

Let's make a delicious and nutritious curry from white beans.

Good morning to all my Hive friends! How are you doing? I recently bought some white beans from the market, and we usually incorporate them into our meals in a simple way. However, kids often don鈥檛 like eating beans regularly. So, I decided to prepare a curry to mix with rice, making it tastier for them. It turned out to be delicious, and today I鈥檓 excited to share this recipe with you all. White beans are a low-calorie, highly nutritious legume. They are rich in protein, fiber, and essential nutrients like iron, magnesium, and potassium. These beans are great for digestion and help maintain healthy iron levels in the body. By preparing a curry like this, you can ensure that the whole family gets the nutrition they need. White beans are particularly beneficial for those on plant-based diets.

Wednesday Walk - Walking again

I have been going through one of the most inadequate exercise periods in recent years. Summer is one of the most suitable seasons for me to exercise, but I haven't been able to do it enough. In summer, the daylight hours are long, it is possible to find the most suitable time zone for exercise. Winter is not like that. It snows so much, it is hard to even get out of the house.

Narrow Escape: How I Escaped a Scorpion Sting Today

I would have been in a state of dilemma today because I encountered this tiny creature but luckily I was not a victim, this creature called scorpion can bring out the monster in someone, it can make an adult behave like a child, it can disorganize the body system and brings pain to the soul.
