OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1386th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Pumpkin Quesillo with guava candy (English/Spanish)

It is a pumpkin quesillo, in my country pumpkin is called auyama and quesillo is a delicious traditional dessert that is usually made with eggs, condensed milk and vanilla, to enhance the flavor many of us add rum. But this time I bring you a much more complete and nutritious version, since I have added pumpkin and guava jam.

My weekend experience visiting Bombas Gens art gallery.

That was reading in one of the descriptions of the exhibition at this art gallery I visited today, on a beautiful sunny Sunday.

Most of you don't know a lot about myself (yet). But probably If you have a quick look at my blog you can see one of the things I like doing on the weekends is going exploring and visiting new exhibitions.

Festival People

The festival people are the rare humans who give me hope of better today & tomorrow. I decided to post this in PhotoFeed community cause of the nice shots I made but also I decided to write some more philosophy behind & around the photos.

WE 177 Art on the weekend

I am currently part of a women's cultural collective where we learn to play "tambores afrovenezolana". Our rehearsal place is located on the outskirts of the old Plaza de Toro in Caracas, a place that has been rehabilitated by various cultural and artistic groups in view of the fact that in the past it was the epicenter of multiple barbarities and criminal acts.

Remembering a family day[🇪🇸/🇺🇸]

Today I want to share with you a beautiful day that I lived next to my family of blood and family of life. This was a December 24, because a week before this date, they came as a surprise to inform us that my brother, on my mother's side of life, was getting married on this date and that it would be something very intimate, there would be no particular people, first because of the date and second, because they only wanted something very familiar to enjoy it to the fullest. So, they asked us for help to make the preparations.

Planta Millonaria-hojas amarillaras / Millionaire Plant - yellow leaves

have 2 plants in different pots, which I have them in the living room of my apartment, and one has already managed to give birth, while the other still nothing, I think it is because of the soil. I understand that this plant is very delicate and you can't water it too much, because its stems have water in them. I water it once a week and put it in the sun from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Since in this area it is very sunny and hot.

My birthday at "Los Angeles Restaurant" 🎉✨❤️ [ESP-ENG]

The day arrived and I was very excited to attend the place, I went with my partner, upon arrival, they welcomed us very kindly at the restaurant entrance, then they guided us to the place where our waiter that night would serve us, they didn't care. I can explain the beautiful vibe of the man and how, in some way, he was very concerned that we had an excellent experience in the place, he brought us the menu which has a great variety of exquisite dishes, and our choice was pasta carbonara . with chicken, for my part and my partner decided to be guided by the waiter who recommended a delicious risotto that although it was not on the menu, what was available, the pasta, cost 35,000 Colombian pesos (8.6 dollars) And the risotto 39,000 Colombian pesos (9.5 dollars) To drink, we ordered a coconut lemonade, which since my trip to Cartagena ended up being one of my favorites and cost 12,000 Colombian pesos (3 dollars) and my partner ordered a michelada soda that cost 8,000 Colombian pesos (2 Dollars).

Halloween Scarecrow Mask [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you are well, as we are on the date of the Halloween party, I want to share with you my latest creation. I have made a Halloween-themed mask which is shaped like a scarecrow, I have always liked this creature that is associated with many stories and legends, and not to mention the history of cinema, I have always found this figure terrifying. rises in front of the corn plants, serving as a habitation for evil spirits and demons. This mask is made with very simple materials that we can have at home, cardboard being the main one of all. Without further ado I leave you with the step by step of how I made this mask.

Salida Inesperada [Esp/Eng]

The interesting invitation came from a cousin's son, who is only 11 years old, but he and his little brother are very close with my kids, in fact they go to our house very often, and yesterday they were visiting, so I guess they already had their plans, and today they told us about it, and I'm really glad, because we had a really great afternoon.

And the pool is located in a really beautiful inn, located very close to our house, and the manager is one of my cousins, and although the children had often told me about it, I never imagined it would be so nice, especially with such a pleasant atmosphere, because although it is very close to the beach, it is at the foot of a mountain, so the weather is quite cool, which I appreciated, because the heat on the island is really horrible.
