OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1374th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

The family photo above is of my grandfather's father side. He's the second kid in the bottom row. Directly above him is his Mother and Father. Off to left of his father is his Grandmother. This picture was taken in 1914 I believe. The rest of the family includes uncles,aunts, and cousins.

Over the years, Cuba has had many makes and models. Some have been bought and others donated by countries like Italy, for example. FIAT has been a very well received brand. Here we call them "guaguas", it is the term most used by the speaking community. Who has not been impatient waiting for one? Where are those who have suffered riding in one of those? It is worth noting that in Cuba, most professionals do not own cars.

I am trying some NEW varieties of Hardneck Garlic, from MIGardener.com: Chesnok Red - Purple Stripe, and Northern White Hardneck. Follow along, in this video, as I show you MY process for planting Fall Garlic, for harvest come early Summer. My gardens are in New England, zone 6b/7a.

Last year, I planted my garlic, in two 25 gallon (95 liter) Fabric Grow Bags. We had an obscenely wet spring and summer, so the result was NOT what I was hoping for. This year, I am trying an experiment: two 25 gallon Grow Bags, and an inground garden bed. Both will get the same fertilizer, soil (to start) and straw mulch. We shall see how they both do, compared to each other.

The sense of being simple has always ruled my life, especially in the sense of material things. I love simple dresses and footwear. But, there are some hobbies that infringe my sense of simplicity. They just can't be helped even when I know I shouldn't take them much, and one of them boils down to cooking.

One of the changes I implemented to help us not to have any problems with our fabrics, was to give the clothes an extra rinse, in order to completely remove any kind of residue or fragrance, so in total I give two rinses to all the laundry cycles I do. However, the most important change I made was to completely eliminate fabric softener, I have to say that this was very hard for me, as I had always used it and felt that certain items needed it, such as towels and sheets. But my son's skin condition was critical, and I couldn't risk doing anything that would make it worse.

Criminal zillenial. That's what I realized I had become. Before I could condemn myself to the fullest, she showed me pictures from the Chinese hotpot restaurant she had been to with the girl gang.

A contraption made for people who enjoy something that can be considered the tamest version of cooking in an open flame in a camping spot surrounded by helium balloons. Dangerous, challenging, yet delicious and fun!

I noticed this after taking medicine for my nasal polyp. I'm taking two kinds of medicine right now and one spray for my nose. I'm not so sure what's wrong, why it started, and what triggers it. Is it really just the cause of overusing my eyes, or is it just a side effect of the spray I've been using, or maybe I am just getting old? Is 29 that old? Either way, my eyesight is not as good as before. I get dizzy after just a few minutes of reading. I feel like my head gets heavier too.

The Cíes Islands Archipelago, located in the northwest coast of Spain, are a true natural paradise that dazzles with its unique beauty. They comprise three main islands: San Martiño, Do Faro and Monteagudo, the latter two being joined by the wonderful beach of Rodas, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, named this way in 2007 by the British newspaper, The Guardian.

I’ve been on a few forest walks these past couple weeks, walking for miles in search of mushrooms to eat, as well as mushrooms to photograph for this community. Also just to detach from my daily activities and give my eyes a break from the screens I am so addicted to.

Almost all of the plants that ended up in my garden this year I grew myself from purchased seeds. I started growing the plants between March and May. For this I usually planted 1 to 4 seeds in a pot, flower box or seedling pots and grew them up in the winter garden as well as on the windowsill. As soon as the seedlings were big enough, I transplanted them to their future location. For this I used raised beds as well as large pots and boxes.
