OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1364th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I went to the city for an errand and since I finished it earlier, I went to a mall to just let time do its tick-tack while waiting for my partner. While I was roaming, I remembered he once told me that he was planning to purchase another set of curtains for his room. So, being the thoughtful partner that I am (self-proclaimed? hahaha), I took the initiative to buy the curtains for him.

After a series yoga pregnancy classes and ob/gyn visits, I was as mentally prepared as one can be, to give birth to my firstborn. Unlike most of my Dutch friends, I chose not to deliver at home with a midwife. I wanted a natural birth without an epidural but preferred the security of a hospital. There are 6 within a proximity of 5-15 minutes drive from my home. I chose the closest one, as it is known to be one of the best hospitals and my Ob-gyn practiced there as well.

If I could do this rainy weekend what I would like to do is definitely to travel somewhere where the weather is not bad and where I could go for a walk on Saturday and on Sunday I could visit a small town that has a lot of history.

Offhand, it has occurred to me that a good option for this kind of weekend plan would be to visit the city of Ponferrada (León) and its surroundings, which is 300 km from my home.

Greetings to all! Weeks ago I was stressed and even in catharsis because of the internet problems that prevented me from creating my daily contents. Not only is the signal affected by the constant blackouts and outages, but also the devices that support the internet service are very affected by the weather and the electrical instability of the country.

Recently, a survey was made in the residential area where I live to know if we agreed with the installation of fiber optics and to eliminate the old equipment. Yesterday Friday, I got a chance to buy snacks at the Dali Store just a short steps away from my son's school. This Dali Store is just a new supermarket in our area. It quickly became popular with consumers because of the lower cost of their products compared to leading supermarkets here in the Philippines. The first time I entered the store, I asked the cashiers why their products were cheap given that some of the foods here also came from other countries. They just told me that their products are really cheap because they don't have any commercials. Unlike others, we will see promotions. If this is true, Dali is really a great help to consumers, especially now that all food is loved.

I hope everyone had a great week and a restful weekend. On this occasion I share with you a recipe for cassava empanadas. This idea came about because a few days ago my dad was watching videos and when he got home he told me about a recipe that caught his attention, and when it comes to frying, he is the first to want to try it. When he told me how the recipe was going more or less, I got to work to see if I could recreate the steps he gave me.

A few days ago I had a craving to eat mango sticky rice. There is a restaurant near my work place that sells it but I was on leave at that time. Initially I wanted delivery but after I thought about it it was better if I made it myself because if it was delivered the price would be double the price of the food ordered.
