OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1190th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Cooling Pad // Unboxing and use experience

I have to admit that technology is not my forte, I have mentioned it before in my publications and among the wide range of opportunities that emerge daily in this field, sometimes I feel out of context and tend to resist the new. In the end, resistance to change doesn't defeat me, and although I struggle a bit, I am somehow getting introduced to the amazing tech world.

Coleccionando palabras // Esa Vida Nuestra/ Iniciativa 12/Habla Doméstica (Español/Ingles)

In my childhood it was fashionable at school to use the language of the F. It was about transforming words by introducing between each syllable another one formed by the letter F and the vowel that corresponded to the previous syllable. I do not know if my explanation is understood, but I will do it better with an example, if we wanted to say napkin then we would say serfervifillefetafa. One of the words that stayed in my memory forever was the name of my older sister, her name is Diana and I spent many years calling her Difiafanafa; as I was very young it was one of the few words I could learn in the language of the F, but for me it was wonderful to call her that way and feel that our uncles or cousins, who were the ones we lived with the most, ignored what that word was about.

Lunch at El Arepon Restaurant

There has been some changes to the interior of the restaurant since I was last there about a month ago.The only changes are the photos on the wall pictured above. It gives it a smidge better appearance in my opinion.

“A Detail for Dad” // Hanging Hammer / Quilling Technique [Eng/Esp]

This time at the request of my daughter, since she wants to give a little something to her daddy whose job is carpentry, I made something allusive to his work, a small pendant of a hammer in the quilling technique.

Market Friday - In Search for an Electric Bike at Decathlon

The family and I have been to Decathlon many times. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take photos inside Decathlon. A few days ago, I got the chance to take pictures inside. Well, today's topic is all about an electric bike.

I used to have a city bike in Cebu, Philippines. I learned to ride a bike when I was 6 years old. I experienced riding a Solex in Cambodia. Well, that's for another story.

Making Mango Tapioca with LOVE

It was last Monday when we commemorated our 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence in school and there was a short program after the flag-raising. My colleagues planned to hang out outside after the program since we don't have class afterward. We decided to go somewhere else to eat our lunch. At first, we planned to go to this particular restaurant but we ended up going to the house of one of our colleagues just to minimize our expenses.

My Escape Route in a Suffocating Situation: A Mini Walk in My Favorite Spot

Last time I had a walk with my oldie (Mommy F), and today I had a walk with my mama, she's my biological mother, by the way. Out of my three mothers, having a walk with my Mama is the most enjoyable because we are really in sync when it comes to the things we want and like when it comes to almost everything. We both love having a walk in the scorching heat of the sun without an umbrella, we love to look around the place to hunt for a thrift shop, and we both love to talk about funny things while having a walk.

Visiting The Flower Nursery for Market Friday -by Sunscape

This spring has kept me quite busy at home with my own gardens. This week was the first chance I had to get away for a stroll through one of my favorite garden centers.
