OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1189th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

I grew up on the African American church music of my elders, from Spirituals to relatively modern gospel of the 1980s and 1990s … at home I heard Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson and early hip-hop in their day, and what I didn't know I was strongly picking up was the Africanity of the polyrhythm … then Beethoven came along, with the triplets versus sixteenth notes gently indicated in his “Moonlight” Sonata, and I began studying classical music … got to know Bach, Mozart, Haydn, and later Debussy, Satie, Saint-Saens … and they, too, were at that point being influenced by the Negro Spiritual and very early jazz … so we pick up the thread with me listening to Joplin, King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, and John Coltrane... all while composing and synthesizing all that I was hearing...

Greetings friends of Street Art, again I want to share a little work on urban art, the incredible thing about living in a city where every space is used to express through their strokes a little social art, all my work that I publish in this community I got them in the perimeter of my home here in Medellin, the city is committed to give and ask for art, so I can only take advantage and always show them. I got this work a few meters from my house, in the center of Social Development, it is a health center, I knew of the existence of this center but recently they made this art in its main entrance, I highlight the work of this health space, because they offer free help to the community, but one of the service that most strikes me is that it has a "LISTENER" so they call it is a space to listen to anyone who wants to talk, I think it is an important initiative, and that people who come to this center and can appreciate a painting in their facilities, certainly cease to be a gloomy and not very encouraging space, I think these clinical spaces are those that should have more color and designs to brighten up those moments of waiting, hive friends I hope you appreciate this work.

One thing I was forced to learn while growing up was setting principles for myself, taking responsibility for every mistake I make and that is because I grew up in the midst of people who didn't do that or saw any importance in having them. I'm still surprised with how well I grew to become who I am today with the kind of friends I had back then, they literally threw every little value they might have had away and didn't care at all.

One advantage of Apps is the good marketing they have. Anyone can get excited because it can be useful for something. In my case I installed the Leap Fieness App a week ago.

For the management of the application I got a little complicated. It was my son who suggested me to use it but, he didn't tell me how it worked. On my own I started to observe everything it offers. Here I had my first shock, everything is written in English.

As long as we reside in this world of ours, we are bound to face challenges one way or the other, and most times, these challenges make us want to do things we are not comfortable with, the end game at the end of it all depends on how high you hold your moral values, are you willing to sacrifice a lifetime of peace and rest of mind for few minutes pleasure? This question remains an individual thing to answer because as our faces look different so our challenges are.

If you want to go to a place to eat something delicious, hang out, chat and talk about pleasant topics of your personal life with a good friend, you should go to K Café. This place is great to spend a nice afternoon.

I usually meet once a month with my friend Marian and this time she was supposed to give me something I had bought for her. In fact, our meeting was not very planned, it was rather improvised. Before I could go to this place I was at the bank solving some issues of my personal account; so my friend wrote me to meet me at about 3:00 pm Venezuela time this day (it was a couple of weeks ago).

It has been a while since I went to the main branch of our university which is located at Indang, Cavite. The sole purpose of my visit was because of the upcoming U-Games. It happened once a year and it was because the memorandum that was passed down to all branches said that it was required to participate in the parade. I already foresaw how a large number of students would come to Indang. And I wasn’t mistaken at all. There were a huge number of students heading to the university and it caused a long queue before you can ride a jeep.

What better than talking about the first color that comes to mind when you think of Pachamama, Mother Nature... than the color of leaves... plants, trees, grass, moss... it's everywhere where I am right now... the one and only: Scotland!

If you thought the days of cherry delights was coming to an end, you were wrong. After the "dry" type of sweets made with this incredibly delicious fruit, it's time to indulge in something creamier. This recipe was created by the guidance of my palate and the given moment - invented.
