OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1051st compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Being an eldest among six is not really easy. Having a big family with a parents that didn't came from a so called rich family is so difficult. My father is a farmer without a farm. I mean he is just planting fruits and vegetables in a land that he didn't own. Being and eldest, I experienced carrying a whole bunch of banana in my head from that so called farm along the creek going to our house. I experienced carrying firewood in my shoulders. I experienced carrying a container of water from the tub going to our house. I experienced eating rice only once a day.

The Saturdays were a family of four. The parents; Mr. Tuesday Saturday and Mrs. Friday Saturday. Their children; Wednesday Saturday and Monday Saturday. Safe to say that Mr Tuesday and Mrs Friday were attracted to each other simply because their parents named them the days of the week and so they thought it was wise to do so with their children by naming them Wednesday and Monday. It was truly rare to see someone with either of those names let alone a whole family.

The sensations of flavors and spices in every bite of Indian food from this family restaurant is something to remember. The chef kindly guided me through the menu, offering recommendations and explaining the ingredients. The aroma of curries and herbs added to the experience, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere.

As a child, I was amused to hear my mother or my grandmother say: "oh.... that song was in fashion when I was X years old" with a nostalgia that took them back to that time. And it turns out that now, I'm the one who says that phrase and my children look at me with strange faces.

Hello how are you friends, a pleasure to greet you, today I went to visit my best friend at her house, since I had not seen her for a long time, so I took public transport in the afternoon, después tuve que caminar un buen rato, hasta que llegue a su casa.

But let's go to what really interests us at this moment and let's review a little bit the beer offer proposed by Mononoke Board Game Café, an interesting national variety of craft beers that shares space with more popular brands, for those who wish to opt for something less daring.

It was my first time in this place and I had high expectations about the beers we could try that night, however I had not considered that they serve in shifts and what could have been a long tasting, was limited to a couple of hours only.

I must say, I'm looking at dandelions in quite a different light now. I wont be pulling them out in a hurry anymore, my hubby thinks I'm crazy, had to explain what I learnt from Hive Garden Community on the benefits of having Dandelions in our garden...I think I've convinced him Lol!.

This year hasn't started well with my Garden plants. They seem to be dying on me, and I don't know why.

We went to St Bernards Bar, in Stock Bridge in Edinburgh, which is a lovely part of the city that has a nice hip and trendy village feel. Its one of my fav pubs here in the city as its quite quirky. The barman, Hugo, is great and makes you feel very much at home and provides fantastic service. Plus he has a record player on the bar and plays great vinyl all day long ! I've dropped a pin on pinmapple with the location of the pub.

I start, with this delicacy brings me a lot of memories in my adolescence, at home they always bought them and mostly prepared them fried, I mean the sardines.

Who of you my readers, has not tasted in his life a delicious sardines? Whether in fillet or canned, also in a tasty broth of that raises dead 😜 😜 😜 😜 the truth is that they are super economical and I think they are the tastiest fish in the whole ocean.

I've been teaching in a remote area for the past five years. I observed my indigenous students' ways of life. I discovered everything there is to know about living a simple life full of contentment and satisfaction.
