OCD DAILY - Issue #360

Welcome to the 360th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #360 highlights content from ten (10) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found ten (10) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from bugi14@bugi14

bugi14@bugi14 took us around on his quick stopover at Catania in Italy. He was on his way to Salerno which is south of Naples (love the pizzas there!) and thought he would stop over at Catania to check out the city. The city is full of nice buildings and food which he had shown through his post but in particular the street art is just beautiful. Great pictures and a nice write up of his experience for his day visit.

Our next nomination of the day is from kevirizal@kevirizal

"If there is no rattan, the roots of wood can be utilized" kevirizal@kevirizal explains how he using the proverb to overcome difficult limitations in life. Currently he is trying with the help of a mechanic to modify a car that's incredibly old - but lack of money means he can't buy original parts. Still, he believes with patience and thoroughness he can repair the car and get it to work again. Even if it doesn't work out he used the car to create some cool shots of himself and the rusty vehicle. Inspiring!

Our next nomination of the day is from tatravelvlogs@tatravelvlogs

tatravelvlogs@tatravelvlogs traveled on Tenerife and went parasailing. He took a great video about the amazing experience of sailing through the air. The white clouds, blue sky, exciting water activities, the motor boat sailed above the ocean and formed beautiful white waves. He shares his wonderful holiday with us and I do feel his happiness through his video.

Our next nomination of the day is from steamdan@steamdan

steamdan@steamdan shares with us the account of a devastating fire caused by an unexpected power surge in his parents' house. Although the family suffered huge material damage, which he details in this blog, no people including his parents and kids were harmed. Given the crisis in Venezuela, the family couldn't even get help from the firefighting department. The author is staying strong through this ordeal, and looks forward to rebuild the home and also gives us some safety tips to keep our homes safe.

Our next nomination of the day is from tygertyger@tygertyger

You know that feeling you get after getting one author recognition for their work here on Steem? Well, just imagine the feeling when 38 Steem users collaborate on a single song, and you can get it some recognition! That's right, 38 Steemians came together to create this one epic piece. The list of collaborators is included in the post and is mighty impressive. They've all come together to create this very unique sounding piece that they should all be proud of.

Our next nomination of the day is from trave160@trave160

trave160@trave160 brings us a well written review of the game "My Friend Pedro", a hyper-violent side scroller game from DeadToast Entertainment. In this post, he covers the game's premise, story, character, mechanic, and ultimately, a review score based on what the game delivers. The images selected are aptly illustrative, and the review itself has a nice flow which made it easy to read and follow. This game is available for PC and the Nintendo Switch, and if you had heard of My Friend Pedro from its origins from being a flash game published years ago, and you were thinking to maybe get this game now that it is a full-fledged title, I'd recommend that you check this thorough and informative post from trave160@trave160

Our final nomination of the day is from mfxae86@mfxae86

What does keto diet look like on a plate? Oftentimes people focus too much on what they can’t have in certain diets and it can lead them to fail to comply as a result. mfxae86@mfxae86 talks about how he finds it easy to follow keto diet and how tasty it is even after reducing or removing certain food items all together. These days we eat too much processed food. The easy access and them being cheap doesn’t help either. Many could benefit from keto. Take a look.
