Issue #353 highlights content from ten (10) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found ten (10) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The @OCD nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Since being introduced to Steem by a friend @jhon.slowman has been shredding (literally) up the competition in the Open Mic contest. He has been on Steem for 23 days now, and this is his third entry into the contest. In week 140 he took second place, then in his second try in week 141 he was the champion. Here he presents his entry for this week, a heavy, high powered, and skilled cover of "Asal British" from the Indonesian rock band Jamrud. I think he has a decent chance at winning another prize in this week's contest.

@paradigm42 shares with us some beautiful pictures of landscapes, butterflies, and flowers and brings us on a journey as she educates us on a tree that can be seen in one of the pictures, a butterfly and it's journey to its location, as well as some flowers that can be quite dangerous if mistaken, but are edible and have some medicinal qualities if identified correctly.

@ryo-6414 takes us on the tour of an interesting shrine in Japan which also happens to be the author's favorite. Through the several pictures that the author shares in this travel blog, we get to see the main shrine, the deities that are there as well as the surroundings, and it is definitely a lovely and peaceful place to visit which is enriched by culture and tradition.

Keeping true to our word once we commit to something is very important. This quality is fading more and more especially among the younger generations and @samueldc shares his point of view about this topic.
